What’s been happening:

In May of 2005 I retired from my position as Director of the Department of Recreational Therapy at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC. Since that time I have worked part-time doing a variety of consulting projects including teaching, training practitioners, writing a chapter for a text, editing a publication for a national association and serving on the board of directors of the Southeast Recreational Therapy Symposium and the North Carolina Board of Recreational Therapy Licensure. During my free time I have enjoyed some travel, especially to our second home in Beaufort NC, bicycling, kayaking, learning to use a powerboat, exercise and visiting with family and friends. When my wife, Ruth, retires in three years we will continue to do more of these activities and more travel.
